The Kashiwa Campus is one of the 3 main campuses of the University of Tokyo (the others are the Hongo and the Komaba Campus), located about 1 hour to the northeast from the center of Tokyo. The campus is next to Kashiwanoha Park, which has a football stadium, a baseball stadium, tennis courts, and a lake and is famous for cherry blossoms. The beautiful and quiet environment, unlike in the center of Tokyo, is excellent for study and research.
