The Department of International Studies will conduct the entrance examination (Schedule A) as follows.

 

1. Examination dates and procedures

As of June 4, the examination dates and procedures remain unchanged from the ones in the Guidelines to Master Course & Doctor Course as well as in the Guide to The 2021 Entrance Examination of Master & Doctor Courses of Division of Environmental Studies. However, in case the situation of COVID-19 deteriorates further, the examination may switch to entirely online.

 

2. Mitigating circumstances for suspected or confirmed COVID-19 applicants

1) Master’s Course Ordinary Examination applicants will be provided with an alternative opportunity to take the examination online if they are deemed unable to take the examination on campus. In the alternative online examinations, the written examinations (English and Specialized Subject) will be conducted on August 17, and the oral examination on either August 18 or 19. Further details will be enclosed with the admission ticket, scheduled to be sent in the middle of July.
2) In the alternative online examinations, the written English examination will be prepared by the Department, instead of TOEFL-ITP. The contents of the Specialized Subject and Oral examinations will remain the same as described in the Guide to The 2021 Entrance Examination of Master & Doctor Courses of Division of Environmental Studies.
