講演タイトル：The Language of Development: examples of discourse analysis applied to policies and communication within the development assistance community

要旨：Yu Maemura obtained his Master’s (2010) and PhD (2014) from the Department of International Studies. He conducts research and educational activities aimed at pursuing improvements to international development policies and practices. Inherently complex development projects reveal distinct challenges in their evaluation and communication processes. This presentation will introduce two research projects that have focused on development discourse (i.e., language used by specific communities such as development professionals).
